Awesome to see everyone getting their ‼️ __ With that being said, many don’t have countless hours to spend in the gym. Maximizing your time with the right training program is critical to maximize both time and results. __ Today I wanna talk about a training concept called, Periodization. This is the main structuring for all collegiate and professional sports. It essentially breaks the year down into multiple phases based on off-season, pre-season, in-season and post-season. This helps prevent overtraining, and ever reaching plateau. __ There are many phases within periodization with the 2 most used by myself are hypertrophy and strength phases. __ Right now I’m in hypertrophy sticking to 3-5 sets, 8-12 reps with the final rep at failure and 1-1:30 min of rest.
