. Made a quick trip to Aldi yesterday. Made some great finds like frozen mangoes and pineapples. I was able to buy pineapples that looked nice for just $1.49 each. Got my dates! !! 💕💕💕💕 when they saw me coming they said, "oh, here she is! She's coming! Take us home! " so I did. Seven pounds of beautiful moist dates! 😋 . We also bought a ton more of fruit. Mangoes were 59 cents a piece. We bought grapes, kiwis, apples... got me some celery and cucumber for juicing. They had arugula and spinach on sale. You know I bought that. We snacked on a box on the way home. That was a little snack. Just 5 oz. . I also found some vegan burgers and meatballs. So I bought those for the ones that still crave meat. I cooked pasta with meatballs last night. I'll post photo later and make comments. 😕 . Love me some . 😍😍😍😍 . . What are your favorite things to buy at the grocery store?

Jeg har nu haft lungebetændelse siden nytårsaftensdag. Den dag blev @syleestarlight og jeg drugged i byen - og det vil vi snakke mere om i næste afsnit af debathjørnet her i weekenden... Jeg har brugt så lang tid på at finde ud af hvad fanden jeg har fejlet, siden jeg aldrig bliver syg mere efter jeg er blevet veganer... Det har været en blanding af ‘the aftermath’ af de stoffer nogen puttede i vores drinks, og bagefter har jeg så fået lungebetændelse samt streptokokker. Hold kæft det har ikke været sjovt! Jeg har snakket med lægen om det, men jeg har ikke vil tage nogen piller for lungebetændelse, fordi jeg ved at den plantebaseret kost er medicin i sig selv! Jeg tror ikke på piller længere, og det her er også første gang jeg er blevet rigtig syg, siden jeg valgte at blive veganer - og det er godt og vel 1,5 år siden! Jeg har spist mange veganske færdigretter og hurtigmad her i januar, og det er skam ikke det sundeste - det er overhoved ikke det samme som at spise frisk frugt eller grønsager! I de her dage har jeg har spist en masse ingefærsmoothies, kamilie the og frisk frugt og grønsager - det er kuren på lungebetændelse samt streptokokker! Jeg er næsten ved at blive rask igen allerede og det er bare fantastisk! 🥝🍌🍎🥑🍅🍍 #fruitismedicine

This is so because water-rich fruits and vegetables also provide you with natural sugars, amino acids, mineral salts and vitamins that are lost in exercise. The study found that this combination helps hydrate you more effectively than or sports drinks. Eating fruits and vegetables high in water content can replenish your body without all the artificial colors and flavors commonly found in sports drinks. The biggest advantage of consuming high water content foods is that they contain minimal calories and provide a feeling of fullness. and contain about 92 percent water per volume. Other fruits with high water content include grapefruit with 91 percent, cantaloupe with 90 percent and peaches with 88 percent water. containing 87 percent water by weight include pineapple, cranberries, orange and raspberries. Apricots hold 86 percent water, while blueberries and plums contain 85 percent water. The water content for apples and pears is 84 percent. Cherries and grapes contain an average of 81 percent water. And, a banana’s composition includes 74 percent water. On top of the list are and lettuce, consisting of 96 percent water. Zucchini, radish and celery are comprised of 95 percent water. Ninety-four percent of tomato's weight is water, and green cabbage is 93 percent water. Vegetables that contain 92 percent water include cauliflower, eggplant, red cabbage, peppers and spinach. Made lunch snacks for next week. Took 5 minutes to put the frozen cherries and 1tbsp of honey in my @nutrininjakitchen and pour it on my food dehydrator. Since they were frozen and had extra water I left it overnight. Making my own snacks lets me make sure the kids eat real food. It lets them have sweets with 1/10th of the sugar and it's fun..... I didn't have any veggies to add this week. I'm going to try blueberry beet very soon. #fruitismedicine

Dag 10 på detox med bare frukt🍊 STORYTIME: For snart 10 år siden fikk jeg diagnosen «diabetes type 1» og begynte å ta insulin i form av sprøyter opp mot 6ggr daglig. Reisen har vært lang og krevende, men for to år siden tok jeg det første steget mot bedre helse og ble veganer. Det hadde en veldig positiv innvirkning på kropp og sjel, og etter kort tid kunne insulindosene halveres. Jeg begynte å studere plantebasert mat som medisin og holistisk helse. Fra der utviklet kostholdet mitt seg gradvis mer til frukt og grønt, hvor det siste året har bestått av 75% raw. Etter nyttår bestemte jeg meg for å gå enda dypere inn i detox for å renske ut all form for gift, og la kroppen regenerere seg på cellenivå. Tanken her er å gå etter roten til problemet istedet for å bare behandle symptomene, som dessverre er slik de fleste legemedisiner er laget for.. Frukt er pakka full med næring og energi, og har en celle-reparerende effekt i kroppen. Per dags dato er jeg nede i minimale mengder insulin hvor hver dag er bedre enn den forrige! Man skulle tro at et så høyt inntak av karbohydrater er negativt for blodsukkeret, men tvert om. Fruktose er den eneste sukkertypen som kan gå inn i cellene i kroppen uten hjelp av insulin! Dette er akkurat det kroppen trenger mer av fordi den er designet for det. Uansett hvilken «sykdom» eller plager du har så kan frukt gjøre deg bedre!
